Nikki`s Drive Inn in Chattanooga

Clean. Watiress was pleasant an food fresh with good taste. Kept our drinks refilled GREAT which is a task as we drink soda an tea alot.

When this place gets crowded, good luck figuring out how to get a table. It's like they've never heard of people just writing their names on a list like every other restaurant. Guests just pour out of the door and block every available space and hope that everyone remembers and honors the order that they walked in the door. I'm just not that interested in waiting 2 hours and arguing about who was next to be seated for some onion rings.

Worth the wait.... always

I truly thought Nikki's was closed and was very pleased to find out otherwise. I had my Nikki's usual Cheeseburger all the way add bacon with onion rings. The food is always great. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. I was glad to see Nikki's was still open and as far as the staff I spoke to knew there is no plans to close in the distant future.

For us locals this place has been a mainstay in Chattanooga for several decades. I really hate to see that this place will be closing sometime in the near future due to the City rezoning this area (which I think is whack). Owner said they weren't really sure when that time will come so I would recommend eating there before that sad day comes. Now to the good; you can't beat their fried shrimp, their onion rings.......service was very good.

This place is a consistent and is a very solid place to eat. Amanda took care of me and my son today and she is very accommodating & awesome ! My personal favorite is the fried shrimp always worth every penny spent. Highly recommend this place!

Nikki's is a Chattanooga classic. It's the best basic diner in town. Know it's cash only and you should bring quarters for the jukebox. Make sure to consider fried seafood and get onion rings. It's also a unique vista from which to see fireworks or a sunset.

Great place! I was named for this place as my parents used to hang out here when they were young. Sad to see it close... Hope to get there soon for some shrimp and rings!

A classic and iconic diner, perched on stringers ridge overlooking the city below. Loads of authentic nostalgia and memories that go back a lifetime. Burgers, sandwiches, house battered onion rings, fried seafood and the last place around you can get a basket of fries and hush puppies with frog legs. The fare won't be winning any Michelin stars, but that's not why we love places like this. Places like these are few and far between, and remind us of more honest times. I hope this one is here to remind us for years to come.

I have been going there since I was a kid and it has always been top notch for lunch. Highly recommend the shrimp plate, seafood plate or the burger or just go for a plate of thos special onion rings and you won't want to eat onion rings anywhere else. My daughter is moving abroad and this was on her list to go to for the 12 shrimp plate and onion rings before leaving.

A great little diner. Tucked away near the tunnel kinda gives it a cozy, real local feel. Great service, friendly folks, I'll be back.

We ordered shrimp and onion rings. We did not like them and sent them back. They did not change the price and the guy at the front, the owner I assume ignored us at all cost and would not change our ticket. That is awful customer service. The waitresses were awesome though. We will never go back

Been eating here since I came to Chattanooga in 1988. Great southern food, excellent service. May be about to close, so if you have not eaten there, better hurry.

This place has been well known in the Chattanooga area for decades. They are well known for the jumbo shrimp and the big stack of onion rings. They have a nice traditional menu but there is usually a long wait for food! However it's always hot.. Very nice staff and waitresses

Fried chicken liver wrapped in bacon, mmmm good! Great cheese burgers and club house too! Service was awesome and faster than any service I've ever had. Even faster than a mexican restaurant. Have no idea how they made all of it that fast.

Good, fresh seafood and really wonderful people. Friendly locals, all seem to be willing to share welcoming smiles and directions for new arrivals like me. This place may be a Hole in the Wall in size, but it is no secret !

I really like the ambiance, the theme of the diner. The food was good. I would go there again. I only wish they had milk shakes or maybe fresh pies.

Awesome place with a ton of history. The most delicious food and yes they have the best onion rings on the planet! Please stop here especially if your from out of town you want regret it.

The iconic restaurant is still filling the house at lunch. Very friendly service and good food. Worth saying we got in before the place got bulldozed for a condo building.

Driving towards Pigeon Forge with my best friends we decided to try a restaurant the locals love to eat at and we found it! Nikki's was a blast to the past. Great diner, great conversation with the staff, good food and fun atmosphere.

I've been going here for years. They have great hamburger steaks and fries. Sad it's closing. Go while you still can.

Hamburger steak is DE-licious! Their shrimp is also to die for, you definitely can't go wrong with either of those.

The best onion rings in Chattanooga. Great service & food. Anyone who has not eaten here it's a must before it shuts down for yet another condominium build on the North Side.

Love the chicken livers wrapped in bacon , the gulf shrimp was amazing and the double cheese burger awesome . Sick an excellent place to eat and visit !

I love the atmosphere and the food was really good, i wouldn’t say it’s five star worthy, just because of what it is, but they are definitely worth checking out.

Very good diner, burger and fries for me as usual, fries were very delicious, and burger was top notch.

This is a very small restaurant with some of the best fried shrimp and onion rings I've ever eaten. My guess is the shrimp is delivered frequently throughout the week straight from the coast. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and had to wait for a little bit to be seated but the food was well worth the wait. The servers were friendly and worked hard to get everyone served quickly. I've recently moved to the area and will definitely be going back soon.
